We live in an unequal world. The rich have more than what they need and the poor are left with less than the basic needs of survival. The global economic disparity has lead to concentration of resources in a few hands and made the gap between the rich and the poor bigger than ever before. Lack of housing is one major outcome of this great divide and imbalance.

But for far too many people home remains a distant dream, as they try to eke out an existence in sub-standard accommodation or sleep rough on the streets.
