We are all guilty of creating mental timeline of where we hope to end up one day, or what we aspire to achieve on this journey we call ‘life‘. However, there are always bumps in the road, and with freedom of movement being compromised, we are no longer able to envision anything outside our borders. By illustrating a metaphorical journey, the timeline is intended to demostrate how studying abroad is often not an option for most people, forcing them to end their journey and settle for what they are permitted to.
