There are about 1.2 billion people without access to electricity. We never think about this. There are also 2.8 billion people who rely on fossil fuels such as coal, oil, or gas as their source of electricity. We also never think about that. However, we should think about the fact that fossil fuels produce large amounts of greenhouse gases and they are harmful to the wellbeing of the individuals constantly using them. That’s not to say that our source for creating electricity is any better. Have you thought about how we can make it better? Wind turbines use the natural environment to produce electricity. They are safe, affordable, and and most importantly, they are a clean source of energy. Let’s make smart choices about our source of electricity and prolong our time on Earth.
