This poster is inspired by how human beings are treated like machines. I felt human beings were not given the respect they deserve. That they were just treated like a number rather than a unique individual. So this made me think of the barcode. The fist is closed to show frustration in the poster. The number 18021986 relates to my date of birth 18-02-1986

Death is not justice

Our 2010 project asked for the universal abolition of the death penalty.
For us it’s simple. The death penalty is a violation of human rights.
Article 5 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states: “No one
shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading
treatment or punishment.”
How does that fit with beheading, stoning, hanging, lethally injecting
or shooting someone?
