At its most direct, the poster positions universal healthcare as a fundamental woman's right--a pure positive that should be at the forefront of au courant thinking and cultural progress. The simple, bold color and positive-negative gestalt builds on the the cross-cultural medical / healthcare icon (which also doubles as a charged-up positive battery terminal). On a medical rather than metaphorical level, the symbol set in a circle on the forehead may also bring to mind a medical practitioner's head-mirror. Finally, the"positif" note in blood-red may also bring to mind HIV, and with it a gentle reminder (if needed) that youth is not invincibility and access to healthcare is a matter of life and death across the generations.
