The Greek Graphic
Designers Association and Design Toolkit are hosting the poster for
tomorrow 2015 exhibition "Right to Healthcare" in Greece, simultaneously
with the worldwide opening. The exhibition will open on December 10,
2015, at the Athens School of Fine Art.
Poster for tomorrow is
an international poster design competition open to participants from
all around the world. It is organized by 4 Tomorrow Association, an
independent, non-profit organization whose goal is to encourage people,
in the worldwide design community and beyond, to design posters that
will encourage dialogue on fundamental human rights and social issues
that concern us all.
For 2015, the topic of the competition
was the Universal Right to Healthcare. Out of the 4.980 posters
submitted to the competition, the 100 best posters were selected by an
international jury and will be exhibited. The worldwide opening of the
exhibition takes place simultaneously in Paris and in dozens of cities
around the world on December 10, International Human Rights Day.
After the very successful presentation, for the first time in Greece,
of the poster for tomorrow 2013 and 2014 editions by Design Toolkit
within the framework of Toolkit Startup – Young Designers Meeting held
in Thessaloniki, this year Design Toolkit is joining forces with the
Greek Graphic Designers Association so that the newest edition of poster
for tomorrow 2015 will be presented in Greece simultaneously with all
other countries.
The exhibition will be housed at the Athens
School of Fine Arts, at 256 Piraeus Avenue. The opening will be held on
Thursday, December 10, 2015, at 8pm. The exhibition will run until
December 20, 2015; admission is free.
