A lot of trash is being thrown in our oceans, polluting our waters and killing sea life. The turtle is used as a symbol because turtles tend to mistake plastic bags for jellyfish, and therefore eat them. The turtle here is wearing a plastic bag as a cape to save the ocean. So If we don't try to make a change now, we might end up swimming in plastic in the future.
